Performance Suspension

My brother is restoring his 87 Trans am, so he bought another 87 ta from O.K. that had no rust on it, after he got back we started looking it over, and we noticed there is a "performance suspension" badge inside the car, it's right underneath the glove "pouch" on the passenger side.

Well my question is what all did the performance suspension package include, the car he just got has GTA wheels on it but we are asumming that they aren't stock since it's not a GTA.

Probably is a WS6 car. They got stiffer springs and moster sway bars.

I think every TA got the Performance Suspension tag. You really need to check the build codes to know for sure what you actually got. I've seen posts on TGO, where that tag meant essentially nothing.

karps not every ta had the performance suspension . many did but it ewas a package that gave stiffer springs stiffer shocks and struts larger sway bars and higher durometer bushings and 16 inch wheels . usuallly noted by the "performance suspension " tag under the glove box. does you car have this tag?

My car has this badge near the glove bag as mentioned, I do have "WS6" badges on wheels center caps, the little ones...
