Ok well i noticed that my old torque arm bushing was split and looked like it was done. So i just got my poly-urethane mount from energy suspension 3.1111G. Well my question is what does it take to install the new bushing? I havent gotten around to taking it apart, because of work and school. So what tools and what procedure would i go by when i do it? Also, would i see any type of handling gain from it? My car has a habit of bad wheel hop and no traction resulting in a pitiful 2.7sec60ft time. It was a horrible night and i was on olddddd tires but it was still kinda crappy. Didnt grip till i was past the 1/8 and only managed a 14.7, even cars that regularly run high 12s low 13s managed a best of mid 15s. But yah would that fix any of those problems?

Well I can tell you that if all you're going to do is change the bushing then you arent going to notice anything, but trhat certainly doesnt mean it isnt worth doing. Once you remove the black clamshell mount from the rear of the trans just grind off the rivets that hold the factory bushing into place, then your new poly bushing will fit right in. If you're using an aftermarket arm (I have an adjustable BMR arm, which is EXCELLENT I might add.), then the bushing will look completely different, and be a little tough to squish back into place, but itll fit. And as far as your 60 foots, its not going to help any. If you were doing with a host of other mods then of course it would. Your best bet is to get some good quality rear lower control arms and tourque arm. A panhard rod would also be a good pickup, but wont help your wheelhop any. Lingenfelter sells the hotchkis setup for the cheapest Ive found. Very good quality of course. Hope I helped!
