I was just trying to clear up some questions I have.
1. If I had my computer tuned eventhough it's bone stock would I pick up a few hp?
2. What is the advantage of deleating the rear o2s?
3. The advantage/disadvantage of obd2 vs. obd1?:dontknow:

1. From what I understand you will pick up around 10.
2. You can get rid of your cats and the computer won't know.
3. OBD1 is easier to tune.
If i'm wrong somebody please correct me.:werd:

How hard is it to convert to OBD1? Or is it worth my time just for ease of tuning?:dontknow:

I've never done any tunning, so i'm going to ask someone who has to jump in here.
I think Grims has OBD1 on his 96 ta, so he would have some insite.

from what i understand the swap isnt difficult...like 96redlt1ta said many swap because its easier some swap because they already have stuff to burn chips rather then spending $500+ on obd2 software.

Just be forewarned if you have emissions testing in your area and your car is 96 or newer, it will fail instantly. The OBDII test is 100% based on plugging into the PCM. If they plug in and can't connect (OBDI can't talk to an OBDII interface), then you'll fail.
FWIW I think most of the objections to tuning OBDII from a few years ago are now non-issues.

The swap to ODB1 was pretty easy. You have to change a couple sensors, and remove others. Over all it took about 30 minutes. But, I don't think there is really much of a reason anymore. I had to do it because back then there really wasn't any good affordable tuning solutions for OBDII...now there seems to be plenty.

like I said I think the only real reason now would be cost...you could do an obd1 swap for like $250-300 whereas if you keep obd2 you'd need to buy either tunercat(jet now has the rights)@$500+scanning software or LT1 edit@$500 so for many its just a money thing.

Man OBD2 stuff is expensive, I think I got Tunercat with the EE file for like 85 bucks. BTW, I did the swap for about 90 dollars.
