i changed my master cyl and slave. , put everything back together, and bled it by pushing on the slave rod and having the air bubbles come up through the resivoir. well when i went to pump the clutch, the pedal was spongy 3/4 of the way, and STIFF as hell the last 1/4 of the way. well when i went to the floorboard, i blew the slave seal underneath the rubber. not once, but twice!
does anyone know what went wrong?
they were all OEM parts.

I know this is an older thread but I just busted out laughing when I read that!!!!
I gotta remember that as I'm probably going to be tackling my master cyl this coming weekend...
So do you think a nice domestic beer would work just as well??

just make sure you fill the slave up before putting the line on to bleed it (push back on the rod).
