Had a muffler shop weld in some UMI boxed 2pt subframe connectors, but now I have a rattle whenever I go over bumps on the right rear, and sometimes the left as well....any ideas on what it could be? Everything feels real firm.

This is very common when installing these SFC's. The problem is where the SFC's attach around the rear control arm mount this bolt needs to be tighter. Since the SFC's rear mount now sandwiches the rear control arm mount it will take much more pressure to compress the bushing in order for it to be tight. So basically right now although the bolt is tight the control arm is not. Crawl back under there and tighten that bolt extremely tight, we go up 90-100 ft. lbs. and that will cure it. This is also in the installation instructions ;)

Hope that helps,
Ryan

My 3-points were doing the same thing... I'll go under and knock that out :)

Thanks for being such a great company, UMI!

Yep, I would of thought the shop would of read the instructions more carefully. I went under there and got them much tighter, but am still getting a 'thud' over large bumps. I put about a 100 pounds of pressure on it...so Maybe I need new bushings?

Thanks Everyone

Try tighter grims, I mean really tight. We are using 3/16" thick still to build that mounting plate, it will take some pressure to compress it. You can look at the bushings, that is possible too but try a 1/2" rachet first.
