Rear suspension install

OK guys/gals, my rear suspension components should be here by end of next week, and I intend on installing the GC, springs, and shocks probably this fall. So my question is:

Has anyone installed a set of these Ground control perches, and if so, what advice can you offer for pre-sets. Plus, I don't even know if this is a bolt-on application or requires welding?

UPDATE: Parts are enroute, and the shocks MUST be installed first before adjustments. Basically, once installed turn ALL THE WAY to the minus position (soft) and back off 1/4 turn. Perch adjusments will be a trial and error approach until proper ride height is obtained. Strictly a bolton application

Sounds like this setup is gonna be a PITA, but we must do what we must do!
Will update this post as the project proceeds. Maybe make a "sticky"
