I have a Hurst with a T handle. At first I hated the handle, seemed so unnatural, but now I would never have anything else, you can get such a death grip on that thing while flying through the gears.

I have been considering the t handle but like you said it looks unnatural,and it seems like it would be hard to shift with it,guess I won't know till I try
