Does Radar detection system work on our cars??

cause i just read in a review overthe inter about some guy who has this Cobra radar detector and he owns a Chevy and i quote "some ppl may know it doesnt work well with chevy and gm cars/trucks. theres something that they put in the windhsield during the process of making them, which doesnt allow the radar signals to be picked up from far away... i know i have a gmc right now and it does kina suck"

is that true, cause i was surfing for some kinda detector cause hell radars are all overhere

never heard of that before. i have a friend who uses a valentine1 and it goes off all the time for popo.

My V1 sits right above the rearview in my Z and sniffs radar real good. Right behind the sunshade and is hidden real good too.

so it's all nonesense?? cause i was looking into cobra's detectors,, what kind do u prefer??

I loved my Bel RX65, thing is it can't take Texas heat very well and I have had to have it sent off to get calibrated twice now.
