There are a couple of people here that have posted STS kits. Search through the Forced Induction forum a bit maybe?

First off im gunna just say im not a big fan of the rear mount. It jsut goes against everything that makes a turbo work good...

But with that out of the way, the rear mounts do work well even so.

The problems are, you are limited to size of turbo (you can only fit so large a turbo back there). You also have the ground clearence issue. You lose ground clearence, but with a 1" drop you should be ok, just drive like a sane person. One other thing is you cant have a subframe connector on one side because of the charge pipe.

I would look into the PTK/PTS systems. You could also buy a custom made front mount system from various people on the forums that have been building htem. In fact i know of one right now and if you are interested PM and I will get you hooked up with the guy.

Multiply that by 2.5 and you start to get to the lower end systems.

hell a good turbo is at least 600 bucks
that is no piping, manifolds, or anything else
I have a T-67 and it was 1100 bucks by its self
I think that at one time you could get a MP T-70 for 499 but it was a POS
there is no way that you can build a decent turbo kit for a grand
or even 2 grand if you did not intercool it
then you have a fuel system
hell that could easy be more than 1 grand
and if you run any boost for any amonut of time you will more than likely blow the stock engine
you also have to have it tuned

and whatever you wind up spending on the turbo kit count on doubling twice that for supporting mods, Fuel sys, rear, tranny, supension,

you could easly wind up spending $20,000 by the time that you forge the engine, stouter transmission, rearend, clutch/converter, fuel system tuning, guages(wideband, fuel pressure, boost), Chassis, supension, and there is probally more that I am forgetting
you could do it for less but
remember
it can be fast and cheap
or fast and dependable
but it will not be fast, dependable, and cheap

yea man. thats the only downfall, the power is there and easy to make, and its pretty reliable to once its tuned. BUT its expensive, and once u have power ya break parts so it gets real expesnsive.

I have one. If you want to see a picture of it, go to:

I would hesitate to put it on a lowered car.
It is not cheap. First you buy the kit, then you upgrade the turbo, then you get the 2 stage switch, then you get the gauges, then you get the injectors, and if you want, the FMIC...etc.
No, it will not break your engine unless you are stupid with your boost level.

But it won't work with subframes :(
