...did a clutch swap without doing slave/master on pre-01 fbody's?

my friend has a 00 Z28 and did a Spec clutch on his, and he had to shim it and everything was gravy.

My other friend has a 99 SS and tried to do it without upgrading the master and he couldnt get into gear.

I have a Ram Powergrip sitting next to me, and i need to put it in, but i dont have the xtra cash lying around right now for the master/slave.

I had the shop do a Spec stage 3 and new billet flywheel in my 2000 T/A without changing the slave/master, been running it like that for almost 3 years no problems.

hmm. maybe ill try it then. I just cant afford to car the car down if it doesnt work...thats why i havent done it yet

once i get the flywheel and resurface it, ill get it balanced and try it i guess. hopefully it all works
