You may or may not know it, but 1993 was a special year for the F-Body, a very unique year. Besides being the first year of the fourth generation F-Body, the 93's had a lot of little differences that the 94-97 cars didn't. Mainly speaking, the computer system was run off of speed density, not mass air flow. This year was the ONLY year that speed density was used in the F-Body of the Lt1 era, and coupled with the semi-low first year production numbers you'll see that suddenly you're part of an exclusive group. A group that has a website dedicated to these vehicles.

www.speeddensity.org

For all of your speed density needs. We're not a huge website, we don't have the extreme amount of traffic, but we're a very tight knit group and have a LOT of technical expertise over there. So stop on by and check us out.

I'll have to pass this along to a buddy of mine. He's got a H/C 93 Trans Am.

I'm going to sticky this for a while to help out our friends at speeddensity.org. They're doing the same for us.

Chris 96 WS6, thanks for the help with this. Hopefully these two young sites will help compliment each other very well.

TransAmTom, what year is yours?? We've only got 1 other Purple Pearl T/A over on the sd.org board. I know they didn't make too many of them. From what I gather it's the second rarest color to the Yellow.

Your car looks like its DPG (Dark Polo Green 93-97) in the pics,I thought it was the same color as my 94 TA
