Hello, it looks to me that someone( probally the previous owner) cut the radio bezel to accomidate the radio in it. The radio looks like a unit from a truck, they probally had a aftermarket deck in ther and just replaced it wjth the one in it now. You may have to get a new bezel( thing around radio that looks shaved or broke), then choose your new deck, i would go single din, then get a wire harness from a car audio store, its pretty much plug and play. For me i ran new wires for speakers through the little rubber hose thing into the doors( i used a metal hanger to fish wire through). Then i took the door apart and replaced the speakers. Then out back in the sail panels, i just put some speakers in there. Might take some time, but just stay calm, and take a break when you need to, and you;ll do fine. Sorry so long, that is just my suggestion. Any more questions feel free to ask, i'am serious about car audio it's one of my hobbies...GOOD LUCK.............

Not a problem, first open your glovebox, then look down in the bottom left hand corner and you should see 3 black bolts, small in size they attach to little tabs on the bezel. take them out. Next youll have to remove the panel under the steering wheel, it's held on by 2 philipshead screws, and two little black bolts( like by the glovebox) on the bottom near your diagnostic port. Remove them, pull the panel out of the way and, now you can get to the last 2 bolts that hold the bezel on.Thats all there is to it, if you have any problems, post another thread and i'll try to help out, i'am on this site daily.... Good luck!!!

I'am glad to help out, no doubt you will be able to acomplish this, and i'm sure youll be happy in the end!!!! I own the same car, and love it more than anything, it's my first v8, rear drive, that will totally, and undoubtally obliterate the rear tires!!!!! I've still gotta get used to it, i just about put her in the curb the 3rd time i drove it, and it was totally dry outside, what uncontrollable addiction....

If you look in the photo gallery, i've posted like six or seven pics. Sometimes they have a picture on the home page here, it runs across the top, you can see my h/u in one and in the same pic, you can see my manual fan switches. I uesd one for low speed, and one for high speed, it really helps out in the 115 degree heat here in las vegas. It's all stock now, but soon i will do the basic bolt-ons, to try to get an extra little power, but not to much!!! Check out the pics in the photo gallery under daveslt1, tell me what you think!!! Thanks bro!!!!

Thanks on the compliment bro, i havent used the net for parts yet, i'am scared to get ripped off. On the fan switch, nothing special needed there. I used 2 single position switches( you could get them at auto store, department store) and 2 wire t-taps, and some wire, boy does it help out with the temp!!!! Real easy to do.... Did you post any pics of your car?? If so let me know i'd like to see, thanks and good luck with your ride!!!!!

You sure can find a write up on this site by using the search option on the first page here, thats where i found it. If you have any problems finding it i could tell you how i did it!!The hardest part for me was finding where to mount the switches, if you buy a dual position switch you can wire that one switch to operate both hi, and low operation of the fan, this was super simple to wire. I was skepticle at first, but turned out to be easy... And the ability to control the fans, it does wonder's in the heat. I read somewhere here that the hotter the engine temp, the more timing is pulled, so by lowering engine temp you alleviate some of the timing being pulled, in turn means more timing avaliable= more power.. Before the switch i could feel the difference between night and day driving( night being cooler= cooler engine temps= more power) now it feels the same either at night, or during the day. Just a little of my experience with our car.

Not sure he'll have time to help you, as we are both headed to Atlanta (IASCA finals in September - part of NOPI event), but there are a few other fabricators that MAY be willing to get you what you need. Just provide pics and details if possible!

No problem, and DJ has re-done his Hawk countless times! (lol)
