This thread grew pretty big on LS1TECH, so here it is. What, in your opinion, is the best SOUNDING catback. All we're taking into account here is sound. Not performance, cost, make quality, nothing but sound.

I love the Corsa as my top choice, but having a SS Random Technology Cat-Back I can attest that it's pretty mean too. No raspy sounds at all, just a deep rumble at idle and a NASCAR scream at WOT. At least that's what I've been told.

ive heard borla and corsa on both LS1 and LT1 cars, and both with long tubes, and just a cat-back. borla wins hands down. corsa kackles more than borla.

Cant beat that $260 price tag. My pacesetter LTs, hooker catback only ran me $600 said and done.

I'll be going with a hooker catback on my next LT1... nothing like cheap quality. I just wish it was stainless.

The guy that installed it for me (I would have done it myself, but the ypipe to i pipe needed some help from a previous accident) painted all the pipes with aluminum high temp paint, after he welded, so all the welds are sprayed too. It should hold up a little while longer.

Won't matter much to me, I'll be going true dual later on anyway.
