Polished LT1's ?? why not step up to the AFR227's with the power increases youd experience it'd be worth it

I am aware of that. That is the plan but, unfortunantly I am running low on cash. As soon as I get a little more cash I will do the conversion you know(lt4 intake and the Air flow reserch heads). As of now I am curious what I will be putting to the ground? Is there anyone that can give me an estimate? I know there was A member on here with a similer set up but, pro-charged he was told he could get 500-600, I believe that is going to be close to my range.

My dad did have a '96 T/A with a very similar setup to yours but he did have the AFR227's and he was using the SQ-trim vortech. He dynoed at like 605 rwhp and 623 rwtq. I will call him and ask him to look at his dyno sheets to verify for me, but I'm pretty sure that was close to the exact numbers if not them exactly. I would say you would be in the 500s for sure, be looking right around 550.

Yeah that's what I figured hopefully when I get my new job I will be able to switch those ported and polished lt1's with the 227's before they get too comfortable, but I think they will do for now plus I think it would be interesting to really feel the difference between them personally. Hey I would really appreciate it if you could get those number's.. That way I will have some real #'s to look forward too.
Thank's again.

Ok, the exact numers were: 607.3 rwhp @5500 RPMs and 637.4 rwtq @ 4800 RPMs. Hope that helps!
