I have quite a bit of chatter starting off in 1st...what do I do to lessen it? Give it more gas

The only solution is to buy an LS7 clutch kit or a LUK pro Gold clutch kit. There is no way to lessen chatter with normal driving, you could use a much higher rpm to start from a stop but you will need to make sure no one is in front of you (especially Mustangs) or you'll hit them for sure.
