can someone in INDIANA join? and I want to ask you all a question.. I added a typhoon 85 mm intake and throttle body to my 98 ls1. now if I floor it the car shifts at 4500 and will not go through the power bands. After it shifts to soon and loses its power it starts shifting hard.. do I need to slot my TPS and adjust it till i gan get full throttle or do I have to have it set by a tuner?thanks

First, yes it is a Northern Illinois club but all are welcome! We have members from Indiana, Wisconsin, and even a member that comes in a couple times a year from S.D.!

As far as the problem with your car, it could be a few things, might be even be a trans. Some things are hard to troubleshoot without getting hands on. Programming software such as HP tuners can tell a lot about what is going on. We have members in the club with the software. Best bet is to ask them directly. Feel free to stop by and check us out.

Oh yeah I know you guys are called "Northern IL F-Body Assoc" but don't you actually have to have gtgs in Northern IL? I mean I thought a Club that says Chicagoland area would host gtgs closer than Elgin. Sugar Grove being 2 hours southwest of Chicago doesn't strike me as Chicagoland area. A "central" location in the northern part of Illinois. Hence, the name Northern Illinois F-Body Assoc. Now, had others opened up their homes for BBQ's and such, we would be more than happy to go to other locations. Such as the GTG in Champaign, had a nice caravan down to a members house because she opened it up to us and we went. Now, If you have an issue and would like to talk like adults, we can do so in person or take it to PM's.

Since your club didn't have anything going on around the Chicago area that's when we decided to break away and form our club. That's when WolpackRacing came into existence.

Not sure how I put your club down at all here Dave but if your that insecure about it then that would be your problem to deal with. What we did within the MFBA we discussed with Tim before hand and explained what we were doing to make sure there would be no hard feelings. Course you wouldnt know that cause well it really was none of your buisness. As for you "breaking it down into the chicago land area then why all of a sudden are you advertising Northern Illinois?? Thats alot more than Chicago land I got a little present for ya though:D

Shall we tell em how you claimed to be helping the club start a pic/vid site then used that to start a new club by lying to us. Or how you email our members from our site to try to lure them to your site (if its not you its one of your members and yes we know its been done). So Elgin is not part of the "Chicagoland area"???? This whole thing started because Jim came into my thread first and advertised NIFBA. I asked about chicago peeps and he says "here" with his nifba sig and all. Before that I never stepped on anybodies toes. Have you seen me post in Z28.com in the midwest section? That's your club's territory, and I respect that.

Lets talk about the good I did for your site shall we. Considering I have a history with you guys. I did countless videos, that take more time than you could imagine. I was going to do decals and start putting money into the club. I also made that top banner you have btw. Now I wasn't even a moderator. You want to talk about hurt? How I hurt you guys? Look what you guys did here, you neglected me. Hell I put more time into that club than most moderators at that time. No one else was doing anything besides you and Sam.

While the majority of our members are fbodies we have some that arent. We have at least 1 mustang I know of, a GP, a TBSS, and a few other assorted cars. Theres no rules on what ya own so long as you enjoy cars:D

Just wanted to come in here and apologize to all the members that had to read the ridiculous threads. Things got way out of control and I'm definitely one of the people to blame. As you can tell two clubs around similiar areas are bound to have there moments in rivalry.

I want to apologize on my behalf and just state that our club is not immature, however I maybe for acting as stupid as I did. I'm not trying to send any other messages other than an apology to the ls1lt1.comers. This is NIFBA's space and I respect that. You can count on this being my final post in their thread. Very sorry to inconvenience you guys.

Like Dave said this got out of hand, for the people that dont know all the main folks in the thread have known each other for a long time so this is more of a family fight than anything. NIFBA would also like to appologize for any disruptions to the board and as Rodney King said "Can't we all just get along":D
