Gen-1 Block Direct Bolt-Up?

Will my Gen-1 350 bolt up to the motor mounts on my 95 Z or do i HAVE to buy the K-Member from BMR.......And Also will the 700-R4 bolt up to the block as well? :dontknow:

Both will bolt up no problem. Exterior architecture of the blocks is identical w/the exception of the front water pump/timing cover area.

so what about water pump clearance as far as not hitting the radiator?

the long water pump will protrude 7" from block to wp hub
the short water pump will protrude 5.625" from block to wp hub

it will bolt up, but only 2 bolts on each side. the blocks are pretty much the same but the bolt holes for the motor mounts. the LT1's have a 4th hole and mount differently than the Gen I.

what kind of first gen? if its a pontiac and it had an old in it they might not line up. the olds motors had a different offset from one side to the other. i think.
