I think I speak for everyone that was involved when I say that I'm thankful that you were able to walk away from that tonight. Someone was watching over you, protecting you from being very seriously injured or killed.
I have only known you for a little while, but I consider you a very good friend. And while cars can be put back together, dead friends cannot.
For those of you that haven't heard:
Matt was moving at a pretty good clip tonight as he just happened to be next to another 'performance car.' His brakes failed at a high rate of speed, he flew through a stop sign, spun, and the car went into the median, taking a couple trees with it. The car is ****ed up but still has many salvageable parts, and the police allowed us to take him home.
He walked away uninjured except for a few bumps and bruises. That's saying something when you have a gutted ****ing car.
