most places always recommend the 315, personally i would go with that also because its always fun when your tires are more then twice as wide as civic tires :roflmao:

Problem with that is taking a hammer to a car that cost 30000 for 30 mm of extra rubber ? lol ...

Its the backspacing that is different between the ZR1s and SS wheels. They will fit but they'll stick out more than SS rims would.

For you wheel experts i have a question. I got 2 ZR1's out of a junkyard off an SS one day and i have them on the back now(no im not being stupid but my tires on the salads are shot and i havent had time to get more) so for now i can bear riding around like a retard. Ok so i bought two more a whiel back from a guy off tech. They didnt fit. They are the same thing 17x9 all the way around. I tryed them on the back no dice. Tryed them on the front too no dice. The centerpiece has a lip in it that wont clear my wheelbearing cap. ANyone ever heard of that?

It could be one of two things ..
A) cheap knock off ZR1's that fit S10's etc ( they have smaller openings on the wheels to accomidate the old twin pin caliper style Hub/Rotor set-up ( also used on the 3rd gen V6 Maro's )
OR
B) Actual ZR1's from a 91 with the FX3 adjustable suspension Had the 5 spokes optional which became the standard wheel in 94 - Ran crazy wierd hubs which are next thing to impossible to track down replacements .. in which most vette owners have upgraded to later style Braking systems because of the issues finding parts ..( or get find a decent shop to machine the wheel to fit your hubs )

i've seen a lot of guys that put 17x11's on the rear without rolling the fenders, i guess it depends on the backspacing. i've seen the american racing torq thrust ii's fit

i want to put the same wheels on my LT1, i think it would look awesome, ive seen alot of times they say the wheels from any vette from 84 on will fit the 93-02 camaros. i drove a 02 camaro with 19s in the rear 18s up front from a 04 vette, didnt rub at all. keep us posted if you get the rims i want them too.
Hey Nug if your not already signed up at speeddensity.org you should go there as well, they got lots of guys with ZR-1s on their 93 Camaros and Trans Am.
Check it out.

The 17" x 11" rear wheels that you are looking at have the Grand Sport offsets (+50mm offset/7.93" backspacing) which means that they will tuck-in more toward the inside of the wheelwell. Also.., everything that I have seen and heard about the wheelmaker, AFS, has been good.
Real ZR-1 rear wheels have a 36mm offset and would stick-out toward the fender lip of a FBody. That offset (and the wide 315 tires) is the reason why the "King-Of-The-Hill" ZR-1 is 3.5 inches wider in the rear than the standard Corvette.
