so i dont know much about nitrous, and lately ive been hearing the term 2 stage, just wondering what that is, whats the point, whats needed to run it?

and a side question, ive been tossing around the idea of nitrous, whats needed for a small shot, wet or dry, thinking around 75

go 100 shot...

and there is not a lot of point in two stage on a stock motor if you have a progressive controller...

wet or dry is a preferances. ON ls1's i would say dry....

ok.. two stage is when you have two solenoids and nozzels. You hit with one shot somewhere in the run (like one of the line) then you open the other solenoid and the other shot hits for a total of wahtever you jetted it to.

So you can come off the line with a 50 shot and ones you get into second gear hit it with another 50 shot.

You can see that there is no point in this on a stock motor if you have a progressive controller like the FJO 2-stage mini controler (and as you can see this controller can do two stage also).

People use two stage when they are running MASSIVE shots on built motors. Its just another way to make traction a lil more attainable. Plus it is easier to hit the motor with 150 shot then another 100 on top of htat later then strait hit it with a 250 shot.
