New Member- need help LS1 swap!!

whats up guys, heres my story.
im putting together a 1984 15th anv. Trans Am for my little brother. the car is in mint condition. it originally had a 305. i recently purchased a LS1 out of a 98 Trans Am with a 4L60E. i have been searching around about the swap and my main concern is the alternator and a/c compressor clearing the chassis/steering box. if you know of anyone who has done an ls1 sawp to a 98-92 f-body, PLEASE let me know. thanks again!

Some say you have to notch the k-member.
Or you can buy a kit that moves the AC compressor out of the way. www.hotrodlane.cc carries some of that stuff. :D

I ditched the AC on mine when I did the swap and everything else cleared the k-member fine. :D
