Well right now she's got LTs, full exhaust, 230/242 114 LSA cam, so in the next three years I'm hoping to Procharge it with a 9" rear and a bunch of appropriate suspension upgrades.

Which one??
My black one I just want to get running (been 2 years now).
The purple one I'd like to just keep running (been good so far) although I'd like to put a lil' bigger cam than the hotcam in it (thinking 224/236 XE on a 112*)

Not sure how far I want to go with my white '95 T/A. I've already got a CAI with a Granatelli MAF. I want to get some good suspension going, then the catback, and some black Z06 wheels. Hopefully all done by the new year or late spring. From there probably go for the LT4 intake and a larger TB. Not really looking into drag racing on the track... yet. But at least I have enough power to have fun pissing of a majority of ricers.

You planning on LT4 heads too? That intake isn't gonna just slap onto the 'ol LT1 heads ;)

Yeah itds an lt4 intake wont fit on lt1 heads. Not w/o some major dremel use.

Yes, that's me :)
No but she's using more oil now and she's also giving up some power....I think its just getting tired, time for a rebuild.
2 heads/cam swaps on the stock bottom end is a lot to ask IMO.

Well currently I am replacing shortblocks with a lower mileage one, gonna throw a gm847 in it with all the necessary parts. Then Im going to throw a block in the shop and probably go built 383 over the period of 2 years eventually spraying a 250 shot.

Just rebuild your shortblock rather than buying a brand new motor. If you're shooting for 12s with a 3600 stall, heads/cam, and a worked suspension on slicks, then you're monumentally wasting your money. :dontknow:

I agree it would be more effective to rebuild your current engine. You could get better parts, make more power and get it back in a very respectable turn around time.

No I'm saying you should be able to make it to bottom 11s or high 10s with that setup. Especially if you're cutting nasty 60's on slicks with the suspension built as hell.

Between a loan I'm getting soon, and income tax season. I'm looking at forged 355 with a 200 shot. Built tranny, 12 bolt, 3.73's, stall, sub frames, roll bar, cam, heads, intake, true duals, blah, blah blah.... It's gonna be fun.

well my td's are going on monday... after that... this winter i plan on fixing my damn leaking intake and while im at it slap some heads and a cam on there... might as well do it all at once when its parked for the winter rather than fixing the intake... then later doing cam... then doing heads.... tuning after each one... been looking at a cc306 for a while but not sure what heads to go with... thought about the le2 h/c package... guess ive got a lil while to do my research

i built a 383 short block, all forged, roughly 11.2:1 compression. trying to finish the porting and polishing on the heads. then a 5 angle valve job. once the heads are flowed, we will get a custom cam ground, and then turbo timeeeeee!!

You're going to need to know which way you are headed before you do anything. You don't set up for a 200 shot and then decide to throw on a ProCharger - there are some fundemental differences in the builds of these two applications.

it also costs a good bit more.
Personally, first I need to get a car(looking at 9c1 caprice by mid next summer), I'd prolly put full exhaust and CAI for a while, then save up and if I decide to go all out on the car, I'd probably go forced induction. A lot of learning and money saving before then though.

Now THERE'S a realistic goal.
Personally, I'm looking at a rebuild, CF cage and either a Gear Vendor OD or worked 6L80E transmission so that I can have a highway-driving 9-10 second daily driver.
