Finally after (6) painstaking weeks, WDP got me my rotors, and was thinking about the Hawk HPS (not plus)(not ceramic) pads. Anyone have or/had these pads? If so, what is your opinion on noise and dust issues compared to the OEM Durastops?
Thanks
Mark

I've run various versions of the Hawk and Performance Friction (z-pads) and like the Hawk best, less dust, same stopping power. I'm running them on my Impala SS (2+tons), they grip like crazy.

That's good to know. I run OEM Z06 pads on my front C5 brakes and they dust worse than any pad I've ever had or even been associated with.
At some point I'll upgrade to some Hawks to try to cut down on the dust.

I'm using the Hawk HPS and they definitely have less dust. No decrease in stopping power on stock rotors. I like them a lot.

Best pads Ive seen on the market for dust, stopping power and certainly noise are the ebc green stuff pads. Only last about 20k miles though.
