I want to put an LS4 in my 02 regal. I need the engine, transmission, and computer. Anything else to go with it would be great. Does anyone know some place where I could get one?

Might be able to aquire a totaled GXP then you'd have everything. Check local junk yards

05 and newer cars use a system known as CAN you would prolly need the wiring harness of the entire car to make it work properly

There's a complete drive train down to the paddle shift column on E-bay.

hi all. newbie here, hope i don't catch crap for this, i don't own an LS4, but am looking to put one in my cavalier. i know, "why!?"....well, why not, 303 HP out of a cavalier would be pretty nice if you ask me, and i don't want to go turbo, supercharger or slapping a 3800 in it, it's been done. want to try something different. only problem is i can't find any physical dimensions of the engine to see how much room i have to play with. and since it can be mounted transversely, i can keep my car FWD.
thanks in advance for any help you guys and gals can provide.

You should start a new thread rather than piggy backing off an existing one. You're more likely to get responses if the thread topic is related to your question.

sorry, i'm on another forum that some people like to fly off the handle if they think a search isn't done and it seemed marc757 had an engine swap in mind as well.

My main concern is that your reply and question would go unnoticed, and you are better served by making your own post.
Plus some might see your question as an attempt to hijack the thread.

Try Ed Morad at ClubGP.com. He seems to have everything for 97-03 grand prix. Maybe he's got or knows someone who has a GXP that's been wrecked in the back.

He gets a GXP from time to time. It was a rarity back when the post was started. Still a rarity but a lil less of one now

Off topic, I'd love to see the full size picture of your avatar. Is she leaning up against the car or is she pushing it?

Leaning. I'll have to see if I've got the full size ones next time I go home.
