Noob Question!

Ok, this is going to sound extremely noobish and I give you all permission to make fun of me. (Maybe I am just too used to the immature/ricer boards) but, my question is...

What are the basic specs on my car? I'm talking rearend, transmission, etc.

I am buying, what I am told a stock 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28 with the LT1 motor. I've been looking stuff up on a bunch of websites and it would be really helpful to know what kind of tranny I have, rearend, all that jazz.

Any help is very much appriciated! Sorry, I know a DSM from the rims to the cams but V8's are new to me!

If your trans is an auto its a 4l60e trans. You have a 10bolt rearend. Just a basic 350 motor with a shitty ass distributor setup. Nothing special.

It is the manual transmission 6 speed. You say shitty distibutor setup? Is that something I'm going to want to change asap? And thank you! =)
