Im thinking about changing the regular rectangular headlights for something else, make it stand out a bit...

Here are the two things ive found people have done:

PIAA/Rytek headlights (small round headlights)

CATZ headlights (i dont like their look too much)

any other ideas or things that people have done? whether its a headlight conversion, covers, etc etc?

out of the 2 i like the second one...with the first it makes it look like all u have is fog lights

well, the foglights in the first pic are the same shape as the headlights... i think ill have 2 seperate types of lighting for each if i went for that conversion.. any more ideas?

of those two I like the 2nd.

The first looks like a round peg in a square hole...

Unfortunately, I don't know of any other conversions anyone else has done, sorry bro

I also like the second ones. Are those headlights better than th stock ones? HIDs? Do they still have that ugly yellow light?
I was just going to replace the housing and the bulbs with the stuff from eurolights or some place like that.

I'll take the minority position. The PIAAs are startling. It looks like that LT1 has lost its temper and about to go on a rampage. Very unique look imho.

I think the PIAAs would look a little better if wouldnt have also used them for the foglights, and instead some square ones there.

thats what im thinking. i think they look pretty nice, and with a different set of fogs they would stand out well

any ideas what a conversion like this would need?

I think the top one looks awful. Looks like a robot from a cheezy 80's movie or something.

The second one is much better

Still I can't help admiring that cold, mean look by those deep sunken eyes on that coupe. I'm almost tempted to show you a picture of my decals....

Personally, I'm partial to the second ones, but they are not CATZ, they are Hella FF75's and can be had on Ebay relatively inexpensively. I did all 3 sets of lights with the Hella's and just pointed them at different heights and they light everything up A LOT better than stock.

This is before I did the fogs, they all match now.
