SS 6spd (still has window stickers & plastic on it), pulls the motor for a LS based warhawk block (aftermarket 427 ci not actually a LS7), w/ a procharger which did 1000+ hp @ 16 psi on a engine dyno b4 install. i like it even though this guy has some deep pockets (very deep). he's got M/T drs & upgraded the axles w/ a stock diff. on the irs... he's gonna break something when he launches it. awizeking 01-24-2010, 07:24 PM now i wanna see this maro. SEDCSS 01-25-2010, 08:53 PM pretty sure gm hightech wont be the only mag to cover this f body kevstoy 01-25-2010, 09:57 PM Remember that the car probably had 7 miles before it hit the dyno... TorqueAddict 01-26-2010, 08:10 AM i assembled and shipped the axles for that car chrys95 01-26-2010, 08:14 AM Remember that the car probably had 7 miles before it hit the dyno... i believe it was ran on an engine dyno before being installed in the car. SEDCSS 01-26-2010, 10:15 AM doug ring who is a part of the east coast supercharging camp has a 98 vette vert with irs runs 8.90s i dont think this guy in the maro is going to break anything heavymetalpornstarZ28 01-30-2010, 10:38 PM article 4 the curious. The word from down under is that they have been running some damn quick ETs on the same transaxel design for years. Its supposed to be a strong unit. heavymetalpornstarZ28 03-01-2010, 05:43 PM The word from down under is that they have been running some damn quick ETs on the same transaxel design for years. Its supposed to be a strong unit. i know there r alot of quick irs cars that can handle the abuse of a launch & cut 60' times w/ the best of em... but i dont think an irs no matter how bullet proof u set it up 2 b will ever take place of a good solid axle setup in a drag strip application. but time could prove me wrong, vettes & gtos have been running very quick 4 some time now & if the australians have gotten it nailed down on their zeta cars, mayb we will c some of their upgrade methods on cars here in the near future. | |
