MSD Ignition

I'm new to the LSx engine. Is it possible to use an MSD igniton box such as the 6-AL? Is it worth it?

the stock ignition system is powerful enough to provide spark for just about anything. like 1500hp good enough. the only reason i could see using an msd box is for one of the carbed setups in an swap.

stock ignition is good no need for msd

I was also wondering about the MSD coils? I am going to be up around 7200RPM and was unsure about the stock coils reliability under high boost high RPM applications

What about a soft touch rev control?

the computer will become a limiting factor before the coils. 7k is the limit i believe on the stock computer, no matter what tuning.
