Well Wednesday I took my 95 Z into the shop to get my waterpump changed out and they are only charginf me $100 to do it and then they were looking and seen the that coil wire was bad, so they asked me if I had the coil wire I said yeah its in my back seat so they seen that m,y opti was in there too so they said they would change that out for me too so I was like ok but the whole point is I miss my car. I just hope now withthe opti going on isnt gonna cost an arm and a leg but will be happy once its on and the car is back in my hands.

I was half way in the middle of the water pump myself then some of the bolts wouldnt come out so I said screw it and it was cold out and then since the place I went to they know me they were givign me a GREAT discount. A dealer said that they wanted $530 to just change out the water pump and another $550 to changeout the opti

Its good to have that kind of discount as a backup.

Indeed, labor rates are outrageous, and I think my dealership is something like $75/hr.

"How much for a 60K tuneup?" What? $600.00 for spark plugs, flush, injection cleanout, and tire kicking?
:eureka: Time for an LS1, LS2, or LS7 swap-out

Oh hell, just drop a 565 inher'

Yeah im not sure what their labor rate was but they had it 2 days because they were doing it on the side and all so they just charged me $175 for it all better then what the dealership wanted ( that was even with my discount)
