Coils

Hello,
Could anyone let me know if they have any experience with the MSD coils for an LS1? I am going to be spinning at around 7200RPM and have heard the factory coils have problems at that RPM. I am building a heavily modified 408 with 15Lb. of boost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i never heard of anybody having a problem with the stock coils at any point. i don't think the msd coils are worth the money. what are you using Turbo or SC???

Im running a 15Lb. D1SC Procharger. Most people say the stock coils are going to be fine, so I am going to stick with them.

The big point of the MSD coils is that they offer a superior spark to the production coil. We have a max effort 347 coming together that we are going to use the MSD coils on so I will let you know how that works out.
