Hey, I'm considering a 150 dry shot in the future, but I wanted to know what some of yous guys have as far as fuel setups.
I have 36# injectors, and will have an in-tank 255L going in in a few weeks.
What else is needed?

You might want to consider going wet. With dry kit you're running thru the maf to provide fuel. If your MAF runs out then its going to blow up. Wet is a lot safer because of there's a noid for fuel/nitrous. I would defaintely advise you shooting wet into the motor before dry.

Especially with the higher hp shots ,I mean your not talkin a 50 75 horse shot your talkin bout putting some stank on it go with the wetness.

Hmmmmmm interesting.
I'll definitely research wet kits a bit more now.
Thanks guys!

I'm spraying a 115 hp dry shot on 28lb injectors and the stock fuel pump, have been for years with no problems. I'm a heads and cam, full bolt on car. With 36 lb injectors and a bigger fuel pump I don't see a 150 shot being a problem, but I would have it dyno tuned so you could watch your air, fuel ratio and be sure to check the load ( make sure there not maxing out ) on your injectors. I have a dyno graph posted in the LS1 dyno challenge thread that you can look at and see my air, fuel ratio.

That's impressive. My stock 26ers wernt even enough for my cam only. I'll probably be doing heads as well sometime soon. So then we'll go from there and see how the spray is looking.
This system is adjustable from 35-150 or somewhere in that area.

go wet... that way your not relying on the MAF to add fuel and you also donthave to worry about the injectors keeping up with the shot

if you plan on running higher than 150 later on go wet now do it right first time if you plan on staying below, dry will work out. when i first bought my camaro i had a 5177 dry kit running a 150shot with just a intank pump and stock 28.8 injectors. i also used a timing tuner and maf translator with the kit and great results with them.

So would my fuel setup be enough for a good wet kit? I won't be going any higher than 150 as of now. I hope to get a forged bottom end first, then possibly step it up after that.
Hell I doubt I'll even spray that much before then, I'm already worried about my bottem end with my cam and possibly future heads. :dontknow:

Yes you should be fine with the fuel setup you have now. Just make sure to retard your timing a bit and run a closer gapped and colder spark plug and you shouldn't have any problems.

well if nothing is wrong with your motor it should be fine but i wouldn't hit it with that a lot. is this the first time spraying?start small and work your way up to 150 monitor each time with a scanner or at least check plugs to see how it's going. tr6's are what you should have on there too and check them, all of them cause that one you don't check will be the end of your car. just precautions for a stock bottom.

Yea it's the first time sprayin. I'm just trying to get some ideas. I'm only concerned with the bottom end becuase I'll be spinning high as it is.

oh ~6700-6800 prolly. :lookleave
If I decide to spray, I'll most likely downgrade the cam a bit and widen the LSA though.
