I have a 1994 impala with basic bolt-ons.Wish i knew what i know now bout hypertech progammer.My question is what would be some good shift points to set it at.Also would a pcm tune be better to get later on. Thanks in advance.

My advice would be to sell the Hypertech and use the money to get a good mail order tune from one of our site sponsors. You'll get a much better tune, and get the benefit of the tuner's personal knowledge about shift points etc. without having to guess yourself. I myself have dealt with Solomon @ LT1 pcm tuning and he really knows his stuff.
