View Full Version : How about Helo Wheels??...

I was looking at the Helo-MAXX6-17" wheel in chrome.What do you think for my white '94 WS6 T.A.???...I've only seen them on a couple of f-bods and one or two tricked out pick-ups, but the rims were painted.They look nice but I can't decide.I like the Helo wheels,they're a different style...trying to stay away from the TT2's that everyone has(even though they do look good).The Helo wheel has the aggressive look I want.Any thoughts??

That wheel is ugly imo anyways but on an f-body..ugh.

I get the point...I look elsewhere...ideally I want the blue chrome wheels off the 30th Annv. T.A.,but I can't find them anywhere.I keep looking.

They are actually blue annodized. You'd have to get them from GM and they aren't cheap, plus the annodized coating has been known to flake off.

I'd recommend getting a set of plain ones and having them powdercoated blue if that's what you really want.

you know what really looks nice on F bodies? the vette C5 rims.. 17s in the front and 18s in the back. im thinking of getting them myself

:nutkick: those are hideous no matter what they are put on.
i saw the zr1 rims black powdercoated with a polished lip that looked awesome. was thinkin about puttin that on my white formula. any opinions? and yes. c5 rims on an fbody look great.:rockon:

waaay too much bling bling. I can understand you wanting to go with something different though. I originally wanted chrome Z06's, but everyone had those, so I searched the net and found the one's I put on my car in my sig pic.

like chris said there not cheap from GM...but if there the wheels u want id say save and buy them...

the black ZR1s with the crome lip on the top i think would look awesome. the vette rims i see alot of people have and they look good, but havnt seen anyone yet iwth the black ZR1s, wish someone had them and could show me a pic...

look on LS1tech..everyone over there has black ZR1's or black Z06's
