I just found this " Super Street Raptor " Torque Converter, available in stall speeds of 2000, 2300, 2600 or 2800, fits 700R4 / 200-4R / 4L60E (except LS1)
for $275.00. Good up to 450 hp.

Are these good converters? I found some reviews on the net, and they are generally very satisfied.
What do you guys think? It will fit my LT1, and I am looking at Stalls in the future.
What is the stock stall on a 95' 4L60E Z28?
Which of these would be good for all around power and great top end?
And how to stalls work anyways?

Stay away from Garbage like this. The reason it looks like a spaceship is because its 1/2 an OEM converter chopped in two and 1/2 an aftermarket stator housing, etc.
Stuff like this usually has low quality OEM guts in it too.
Stick with known brands like Fuddle, Yank, PI Vigilante, TCI, etc.

from the stories ive heard, stay away from TCI, unless you enjoy replacing transmissions
everything else they make is good, but the stalls tend to explode and takes the trans with it

that raptor is CRAPPY!!!
When buying a convertor, you get what you pay for. Some good brands are Yank, P.I., Edge. A good convertor will run 500+. I'd also say to keep away from TCI(exploding), and B&M (Stall way high).
