egr valve

i have a ticking sound and i cant pinpoint exactly where its from and i wanted to know that if the egr valve is bad will it tick? my car threw a code a lil while back for the egr valve and my car seems 2 be running funny ever since.

Will have to have an LS1 expert come in to answer but I think its possible w/the digital EGR valve. Can you localize where the ticking is coming from?

sure it's not a header leak?

im pretty sure its not a header leak....will the car run bad if the egr valve is bad????
