What are your plans for the car? What kind of driving do you do? Is it a daily driver? Looks like your on the right track though. Bang for the buck is almost alwasy a nitrous kit, however power isn't always there as with other mods, but as said bang for the buck N20 is the way to go..... Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.
Thanks

Well the car has 80k on it and will be my daily driver so im not so much lookin to put it on the bottle, not that i dont like to play its just i would like to keep it around as long as i can without the added risk of damage from the bottle, most guys in my area are still running the older stangs not too many lt1 or ls1 cars that actually do any racing, racing is in my blood and I know that sometimes with performance there are problems that eqal down time and i guess what I want to do is minnimize my risk...do I sound silly??:dontknow:

Cold Air Intake, exhaust system, headers, if an A4 then a higher stall converter also, and gears.

Thats about right...
Check out my post about headers, prices and power in the LT1/LT4 forum.
From what i've learned, Long Tube Headers are the way to go.
Id do this... SLP Cold Air, 160 Degree Stat, Long Tube Headers,Y Pipe, Custom Tune, Cutout and a nice exhaust. Higher stall's are costly but from what i hear theyre worth it. And the gearing depends on what you use the car for.

All the guys above are correct on what should be done as first steps. Stall converters make so much of a difference on an auto car but are worth the money. But try all the mentioned stuff first, cheaper and will help build a nice starting point for ya.

In a recent post in the forced induction forum, it was stated that the Powerdyne S/C's constantly blows belts and have some other issues too.
When i first seen that I could get a S/C for 2,600, it caught my attention too. But then I thought, I'd have to rebuild the bottom end sooner or later, and I'd want a QUALITY S/C.
IF i was ever going to do that to an LT1, I would go all the way and get a ProCharger 8-10 PSI S/C and rebuild the bottem and top end with brand new parts, making the motor SICK before I even slapped on the S/C.
But, I could buy another car for how much all that would cost.
It really comes down to how seriously you take speed, and what kind of money you have.
There it is again...the Magical question.... FUNDS:cool:
Im sure the Powerdyne isnt too bad though, but I would try to find reviews from people who have it and get as much information on it as I could. 2,600 bucks is still a nice chunk.

Man you hit the nail on the head...FUNDS...I have always ,not trying to toot my own horn, been a very strong competitor when it comes to racing I mean I love it, most of it was enen bracket racing. But you guys gotta agree that there is nothin better than a close matched heads up race where it is up to the driver. And in the same breath nothin like havin the superior of the two vehicles and handing out a good spankin..Ill have to spend slow but it will evolve.
