For a full dyno tune yes that is a typical price. There are no dyno tuners in TN right now. Perf. Garage in Nashville will do it on their dyno but you have to bring your own tuning program.

What about a standard tune .. no dyno ? my car runs so damn rough right now and i believe that sometimes my fuel curve is way to stought and other times it needs fuel .. i really need an experienced tuner under my hood to make it work right .. the other day when it ran perfectly this car is soo damn fast im talkin 12.6 or 7's ... she flys just need a tune to make sure she runs like that all the time .. also ive noticed she runs alot better the first 2 minutes after i go ... after that performance really falls off.. (low 13 second car )anyone in KY, Arkansas or missisippi ? Possibly not getting all the fuel volume it needs ?

Gomer is in Alabama and will dyno tune it. I don't have his contact info but several MTFBA guys do.

I tuned my car myself thank you very much :)
Sounds like after it gets into closed loop your car can't compensate correctly. My guess is that the car is way rich and runs OK in open loop but once the 02s come online you're dumping too much gas in.

lol new users are so restricted whats the point of signing in ? lol --
What program did you use ? anyway i could pay you for your time one weekend ?
No point in me trying to tune it myself .. i dont posses the technical knowledge of Fuel injection to do any good

WTF are you talking about new users? On MTFBA? Its no different from here, you have to validate your account first. YOu should get an email from there with a link in it.
I used LT1 edit. Problem is it is VIN locked to my PCM. I can't use it on any other cars.
I've considered in the past buying the OBDII version of tunercat, that way I could tune for others on the side, but I honestly don't have time for it.

It says very clearly when you register that you can't post until your account has been activated. It sends you an email with an activation link...so go to your email, click the link and then you can post all you want. The same thing happens here too with new users, its to make sure you don't sign up under a bogus email to be a troll.

awesome looking forward to hearing from ya .. think he would do a before and then an after dyno pull ? i'd be interested in finding out how much power he can actually find in my mild LT4 .... also ive found a couple guys in the bartlett area wanting to put together an exclusive car club with domestic's only and minimum hp requirements .. interested ?
