Drove from Denver to Lincoln, Nebraska on the 11th for my brother's birthday. Flew out from there the next day for a week-long business trip, then drove back home on the 19th.
Other than rough road surfaces on parts of I-76 and a slight snow tire shake, it was a smooth cruise. I did discover the speedo is 4% slow (thanks to a Nebraska trooper driving in the left lane - didn't feel like passing him on the right even though my speedo only said 75). The cruise control maintained speed within 1 mph up or down hill.
I couldn't resist some "test & tune" runs on on-ramps at the lower altitude, and drove 50 miles around the streets of Lincoln, but for the entire 1096 mile round trip, used 50.2 gals of gas for a 21.8 mpg average (corrected for the speedo error).
Not bad for a carbureted car that runs 13's, in my opinion. :D
