How much can I lower my car, before I need an adjustable panhard bar?

IMO even stock height cars need an adj. PHB, because the rear is rarely centered accurately from the factory. Check out UMI's offerings. ---->

Its true what chris said, also if you lower your car at all your going to need to look into a set of LCA relocation brackets. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call.....

My lowered 3rd gen needed an adj PHB, my lowered 4th gen is still centered as far as I can measure, I guess it just depends on the car. I'm getting an adj PHB for it anyway just to be safe.
