Alright, so I think the factory keyless system for my 1993 Trans Am is dying. Is it possible to go to a dealership and buy a new OEM one? Or should I just buy an aftermarket one? Suggestions?
Thanks!

You can get a new battery and reprogram it. I can find the directions to reprogram if you need it, or you can probably do a search for it.

I changed the batteries, but it still wasn't working right...did I miss something?
*Edit*
Nevermind, I think I figured it out...Thanks!

I doubt you did anything wrong. I had an extra one and can't get it to program either even though I followed the directions. :dontknow:

I believe you're only allowed to have two remotes programmed to the car, so if you try to program a 3rd, the 1st one you did will drop off and no longer work.
Shoebox also has some info on programming the remotes. www.shbox.com
