I See alot of short stick conversion's

I use Lou's Short Stick with my factory Hurst Shifter and love it.

I've got an UMI short stick (GREAT piece!) and factory Hurst.

I love it, unless I break something there's no way I'm getting a new shifter (pro 5.0, etc.) because the money spent and the minimal gains over this set-up aren't worth it IMO

Ditto. I could not believe how much better my factory hurst shifter felt after the UMI Short Stick.

Makes a great budget setup too. The UMI Short Stick is only like $25 and the factory hurst shifter can be had for $100ish. Can't beat that with a stick.

I'd also go w/Lou's if I were in the position or need......but too many other items required first.

Although the Hurst Short-throw (option) is OK for now!

I have the pro-5.0 w/ the lou's. Holy sweetness! I had a guy sit in my car that drove an S2000 (we all hate to admit it, but they have a pretty nice shift) he said it was nicer then that.

Factory Hurst w/ the Lou's piece... I love it. Car came that way. Unless something drastic happens like Cam said... no thoughts of changing for minimal gains.

i know im like a year late of this thread! was lookin at all the old threads and saw this. i recently bought an slp short throw and a lou's short stick (forget what company i got it from) and together they are freakin awesome! wouldnt trade it for anything.
