3.8 problems

My 3.8 has a tapping or ticking noise to it I did a oil change to see if the filter was clogged so when I changed it I got metal shavings in the oil any ideas

Bottom end going south is my guess.

Depends on what you want out of the car. You can find bottom ends qutie reasonably nowadays so unless you're looking to go nuts or just don't trust a used engine I wouldn't bother. moradpartscompany.com is a rebutable site
