This LS1 engine featured Airflow Research heads and cam, FAST 90mm throttle body (that adapts directly to our giant inlet BTW - no need for an upgraded manifold), Turnkey Stand Alone Engine Management System, 62lb injectors, Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, and 8:1 cr that allows the use of 91-94 octane for daily street driving. Boost and hp can be further increased by simply adding octane and doing a 2 minute pulley swap for weekend racing. Torque? Try 670 at 2000 rpm, and it still had 600 ft lbs. at 6000 rpm! Think you'll feel that FAT, FLAT torque curve?

Looks awesome but my guess is like the Magnuson it won't fit under the F-body cowl.

I think the whipple is bigger then that and it only doesnt fit under the vette hood. it says on the site *will not fit under corvette hood. to me that means it will fit under the camaro and trans am hood.

I believe the kit is $7500 with the hood so it will fit. Personaly, for the performance, looks, and having the best name in the biz, it is not all that crazy. I would pay it if i had a vette.

But alas i have a LT1 so this does me no good anyways. Stay with a turbo setup i guess.
