I met Jenn at her job and we were on the way to her place when it let go. I was going down to visit since there's no infants there and I could get some sleep last weekend. I was following the notorious Skittle at the time which I am now stuck driving

Yes, I think I broke/loosened up something at the Fall 2005 FI meet trying to burn out on Streets. Go all fricked year Bracket racing (20+ passes) and no problems, but the VERY LAST event I snaffooed something. Just hope it isn't FUBAR'd

Can still drive around, but can't get on it hard!

Well, it wasn't the TM, and WE went over the car w/fine tooth comb on the lift.....exhaust tight, TM OK, engine mounts OK, and all rear suspension (underbody parts) OK, and they don't think it is the rear diff (nor do I), which leaves me to believe it is the adj. T/A (torque arm) that may have loosened up or something.

Dealership has no clue on aftermarket TA's......go figure

Next step.....on the rack to double check the SFC's, but time for me to grab the guage to see what the pinion degree is on the T/A

I'll probably not go back since they won't work on aftermarket items anyhow.

Just ride it out until fall (cam install), and do it all at once. Not Bracket racing this year anyhow, so I'll nurse it until then.

Driveable, but what's a Hi-perf car if you can't jump on it once in a while.
Oh, well, but I'll be back next year and show EFA that I can run a 12 sec time! Of course, this also means weight reduction, and decent tires to launch.

LMAO.....it all just started with the car, and GREW from there!

First collectability and rarity, then got hooked on car audio and wanted something to put me in the national ranks.

Set and met my goals, then got the "speed" bug and joined FAOA, EFA, and several other orgs. Now, I want to get the performance mods done and the finale will be bling-bling. It will NEVER be intended purely for racing, but still much faster than stock and the appearance mods will set it apart from most Firehawks. At least that is the goal in the long run. Probably will have close to $65-70K when this project is completed.

If I live long enough, maybe I'll throw a 454 LS block in there, and stroke the current motor (for restorative and re-sale purposes).

Yes, NOTHING has turned out like I had planned, BUT man has it ever been a blast and then some!:rockon: :thumbsup:
