I hear from Chris at HPE Rick Intrau's gonna be running the car again August 6th at Bowling Green. What do you guys think? Will be finally bring the LT1s 7s?

Last time I spoke with him he already bought a sb2.2 and 106 sitting for it, not even sure if it still has an LT1 in it. He does have a spare LT1 and 91/5mm turbo, so who knows

Damn, that's a bitch. I knew he was selling the LT1 but didn't know how far he had come.

Yeah, you gotta realize theres no real place to run an out law LT1 powered car, sure theres LS1 tech, but theres so much local paying stuff in the south and Texas, your just out gunned by SBC cars. SAme goes for the LS1 cars, look what the 10.5 tire guys are running, damn near a full second faster. Oh well, I'm still building my LT1 nitrous hunk of junk.

He has the 385 in it so it is still LT1 for now, but he is putting it on kill to see what happens. The SB2.2 is still here in Houston so if he breaks into the 7's it will be with an LT1.

I think the whole LT1 community is waiting for the post that says he ran 7's. I wish him the best of luck!
