Saw my first one today on the I-17 comin home from work... An orange SS, freakin siiiiiick is all i can say!

I saw one at the Chevrolet dealership this afternoon. It was yellow with BLACK HOCKEY STRIPES!! Freaking sexy!!!!! I'll see if I can get pics of it!

The Z is finally going to be what it was supposed to be, the best option available, and I think it got pushed back with the future of GM in the air.

Went to the track friday night and someone had a silver ss there. I got a pic and a video of the guy its quite funny. First let me say this 1. If you buy this car and dont plan on driving it at the track and dont want to make a fool of yourself then dont! 2. A new camaro may make you cool in some circles but 2 passes 1 at 20.00 @ 100.43 and 1 at 18.8 @ 64 doesn't make you cool anymore! here is a pic and I will have the video up shortly

I saw one waiting on takeout at outback as I went through the Parking lot. It was a yellow SS with Rally stripes on it. WISH I HAD HAD A CAMERA

Saw a black, it think it was just a reg RS, driving down Mile of Cars. (its actually more like two miles I think :P ). We had just left one dealership and my friends were like, "Buddy, buddy look!" T'was nice. But Im still waitin to see the new GT's out there. Mwuhahahahaha!!!!

ive seen a yellow v6, and a REALLY REALLY Light Blue one on the way to the Casino. Its kool their keeping it alive but id keep my ta if someone even tried giving me one. Atleast we get a new big block LT1 :-D sometime soon hopefully

I saw another one the other day. It was a red LT. They look like nothing else on the road, I love it.

Hopefully everyone else will get with the program and actually producing their concepts for once

Spotted one on the way to work this morning. I remain unimpressed. He got on it to get around some traffic and the damn thing sounded like a bumble bee. I'm hoping it was a "base" model, was hard to tell with two lanes of traffic between us and he turned off soon after I spotted it.

No, I'm just saying I wasn't impressed. My expectation would be that if I saw somebody get on one I would be, I wasn't. I'm pretty sure he was putting on a show for my benefit, he wasted his time.

Without actually being in the car you really don't know if he had it floored or just stepped the RPMs a little bit to pass a car.
Either way the base model makes more power than a LT. Not that it gets it to the ground better or weighs less but it still makes good power. The v8 is a whole nother story.
I haven't seen anyone playing in them though. Just parked or driving in traffic.

Ok let me put it this way, when my neighbor two doors down pulls out in his 66 GTO or my neighbor across the street pulls out in his fully restored built 34 Pontiac my johnson twitches a little. Yea so we like Pontiacs on my street. But I didn't even squirm a little bit over this car, lol. Just my opinion man.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with working for Lowes dude.

no "new" factory car has a exhaust note like a 66 gto probably with open exhaust!! now put lt's and straight pipes on a new ss camaro i guarantee ur johnson will twitch haha

You are making it sound like you don't like the car at all.
whereas if you saw a LT fbody do the same thing as a 5th gen. get on it. It would be less impressive.
So if thats what you are getting at you don't like your own car. I dunno, I just really don't understand what you are saying. But you make it sound like you don't like the 5th gen at all because its "unimpressive" while its more impressive than your own car by the standards you are speaking about.

You judge whether or not the 5th gen is impressive based on gettin on it on the highway.
a v8 5th gen will walk all over a LT. So I don't understand how you can dislike the car for it not making impressive power, when you have a slower car than that.

well I am lazy so I am not checking but I believe you said you didn't know what it was. regarding that, you shouldn't dislike the 5th gen because you saw one guy pass in an unknown model with throttle at an unknown position.
So if you are trying to say its a v6 then woopty doo, why would you judge the 5th gen based on that? Thats like saying LTs suck because v6 4th gens are slow.

I have seen about 5 or 6 in the last couple weeks. From V6 up to 2 or 3 SS models down here on the eastern shore of MD/DE

OK well I just drove a new base model Camaro with 1000 miles on the ticker. We had a visitor here at work who rented one and threw me the keys. While it is a nice car, I'm sorry guys there is really nothing stand out about this model. I'm sure had it been an SS I would have a different opinion but for the money the interior was very plain Jane and while it had good pickup, it wasn't anything you couldn't get out of a many new cars for the same or less money.
