tall valve cover to alt. clearance

1995 Camaro LT1. Installed new roller rocker arms which made me use a tall valve cover. Now there is not enough clearance for the alternator on right side. Has anyone ran into the problem and how did you fix it?

You have to clearance the valve cover with a mallet or relocate the alternator.

Notice how the stock pass. side cover is notched?

ask contraststiker-- he moved his alternator to below the power steering pump, and I guess that worked out pretty well for him.

I helped a friend here in Nashville to move his alternator to a low mount position when he pulled his A/C out. We made a custom bracket for it...
