I believe that TTS Datamaster is only for OBD I vehicles. I think that AutoTap is a datalogging utility for the OBD II vehicles. OBD II uses a more complicated cable, that is difficult to build at home. http://www.aldlcable.com has them for sale.

I use Car Code, which is like a poor-man's autotap. http://www.obd-2.com
Its about $130 incl. cable.
