I am building a 383 LT1 for use in a 1994 Trans Am. I will use my stock pcm and 42 lb injectors. I also have a walbro fuel pump as well as the aux fuel pump that comes with the ATI Procharger P1SC I used on the stock LT1.

Will the stock pcm be able to handle tuning for the 383 and procharger with 10 - 12psi of boost? Will I need bigger injectors or will the 42lb do the job?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

How much boost are you talking about? Personally I'd get bigger injectors at least 60 Motrons. They can support 800fwhp. Gives you room to grow if you decide to go larger down the line and who doesn't want go faster? ECM can handle as high as 72# and in the works from another forum that I read the other day 90l# high Z injectors .

I went w/ 72 RC's High Z's but they are expensive. 680.00 for a set and dual 340 walbro pumps by Lonnie Pavtis. Still building it but should be up by Apr/May time frame. 383 F1 if you are wondering 20psi hopefully.

Thanks for the replies. SRZ...yours sounds very interesting. I wish you luck with it this spring. Thats about the time I am lookin to have mine done. I will probably look in the 12 psi range. Bryan from pcmforless had me get the motorons. I still have the p1sc and am hoping that I can get 12 psi from it with a 383. If not I will take what I can get for now. Between the motor and trans as well as all the other stuff that goes with this change I am broke.

Hey Flip..Is your combo a 350 or 383? What kinda cam and specs unless it's classified.

Thanks again
