:eek: how do you tell what gears are in an f-body? something to do with the speedo will tell you i think,, but i need to kno b/c im goin to look at a car with a buddy tommorow and he is depending on me to look it over for him and he wants to kno which gears are in it and i dont kno how to tell.. thans for the help:thumbsup:

look at the RPO codes, what kind of car is it

M6s are 3.42s, A4's are either 2.73, 3.23

its a 94 formula same as mine, completly stock. a4.

GU2 - 2.73(A4/most likely gonna be this one)
GU5 - 3.23(A4)
GU6 - 3.42(M6/i believe it can be special ordered from the factory in a A4)
